Meet our Council Members
The Western Prairie RC&D Council is comprised of a representative from the County Commissioners and the Conservation District for each of the following counties: Cheyenne County, Rawlins County, Decatur County, Sherman County, Thomas County, Sheridan County, Wallace County, Gove County, and Logan County.

Regular meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at the Emergency Management Building in Colby, KS.
Sandy Rodgers
Sandy Rodgers is the Chairman of the Western Prairie RC&D Council and represents the Sherman County Conservation District on the Council.
Greg Nemechek
Greg Nemechek is the Vice-Chairman of the Western Prairie RC&D Council and represents the Sherman County Commissioners on the Council.

Bev Elder
Bev Elder is the treasurer for the Western Prairie RC&D Council and represents the Wallace County Conservation District on the Council.

Peggy Hennick represents the Wallace County Commissioners on the council.

Dana Charles is the Secretary of the Western Prairie RC&D and represents the Logan County Conservation District on the Council.

Joe Bainter represents the Sheridan County Commissioners on the council.

Dani Holzwarth
Dani Holzwarth represents the Cheyenne County Conservation District on the council and also represents RC&D on the Western Prairie Food, Farm and Community Alliance.

Helen Dobbs represents the Cheyenne County Commissioners on the council.

Marlene Erickson represents the Rawlins County Conservation District on the council.
